The Meaning of Ideology

An ideology is a system or collection of ideas or thoughts that seeks to explain about the world and its changes that have been formed, shared and observed by groups of people or by society. Ideology refers to the thought that influences the thinking, outlook, and actions of people belonging to a particular group or society.

Desttuff de Tracy introduced the word ideology as the abbreviated name of the science of thoughts or ideas. Its meaning has been extended by various philosophers and experts in the Social Sciences.
