   The term 'natural environment' refers to the non-human-made surroundings and conditions in which all living and non-living things exist on Earth. The common concept of the natural environment encompasses two different components: Ecological units that operate as natural systems (such as soil, vegetation and so on). [1]

• Environmental Resources  — Food from plants and animals, wood for cooking, heating, and building, metals, coal , and oil are all environmental resources. Clean land, air, and water are environmental resources, as are the abilities of land, air, and water to absorb society's waste products. [2]
• Environmental Rights — are an extension of the basic human rights that mankind requires and deserves. In addition to having the right to food, clean water, suitable shelter, and education, having a safe and sustainable environment is paramount as all other rights are dependent upon it. [3]
• Environmental Conservation — the practice of preserving the natural world to prevent it from collapsing as a result of human activities, such as unsustainable agriculture, deforestation and burning fossil fuels. [4]
